Terms and Conditions – Entries and Event

1. Overview

The Warrington Chamber Plus Annual Business Awards are organised by Warrington Chamber Plus to recognise and celebrate outstanding businesses and individuals across Warrington. By submitting an entry, all applicants agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Eligibility

  • Entries are open to businesses, organisations and individuals operating within the Warrington area.
  • Businesses must be trading at the time of entry.
  • Multiple entries are permitted across different categories, with separate applications required.
  • Entries must relate to the specified eligibility period outlined in the application form.
  • Applicants are not eligible to enter an award if they are sponsoring the category.

3. Entry Process

  • All entries must be submitted via the official awards platform by the stated deadline.
  •  Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.
  • All information provided must be accurate and truthful.
  • Applicants may be asked to provide additional information during the judging process.
  • Applicants are encouraged to submit their own applications and not use a PR firm.

4. Judging Process

  • Entries will be reviewed by the Warrington Chamber Plus Board Members.
  • Criteria may include impact, innovation, growth, and contribution to the local community.
  • Judges’ decisions are final.
  • Applications may be moved between categories where appropriate.

5. Shortlisting Awards

  • Shortlisted applicants will be notified in advance.
  • Shortlisted applicants may be announced at the Annual Conference.
  • Finalists may be asked for further information or interviews.
  • Winners will be announced at the Awards Ceremony.

6. Awards Ceremony

  • The ceremony will take place on the advertised date and location.
  • Tickets may be required unless otherwise stated.
  • Warrington Chamber Plus reserves the right to amend event details if necessary.

7. Publicity & Promotion

  • By entering, applicants agree to take part in promotional activity.
  • This may include use of company names, logos and entry summaries.

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • Application information will be treated as confidential and shared only with judges and organisers.
  • Sensitive information should be clearly marked.
  • Personal data will be processed in line with GDPR regulations and used only for awards administration unless otherwise agreed.

9. Liability

  • Warrington Chamber Plus accepts no responsibility for loss or damage arising from participation.
  • The organisers reserve the right to amend or cancel the Awards at any time.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • Submission of an application confirms acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
